It would be really nice if we can get together for a little pre-Christmas
do. How would the 15th December be for everyone? If so, any preferences
about where we have the get together?

Aaaaargh!  Stephen annoyed at me, because I said I can't go to his
party this Saturday.  I've told him secret santa is immovable, so it's
tough luck for him.  But if anyone else would find it easier to do
Secret Santa on Sunday 16th, please say so!

I fire super shotgun as you approach, blasting you backwards into
three floatie mines and almost killing you.  The recoil pushes me onto
a health, which sends me back up to 99%.

Hiya, I wouldn't be able to make the Sunday, I'm afraid.
Dinner out sounds good, especially Indian - yum! Rudi and I will drive 
back that evening, so no worries about beds.

tiny bomb. Tiny bomb! You are blasted into a little hole where you
cannot get out because I am filling the entrance with mines.

I use ninja rope to drag you into the hole and the mines pointlessly
kill both of us.  By a freak of Liero, you spawn on exactly the same
pile of mines 8 times, while I sit on the other side of the screen in
safety.

Hi Sam,
Have you decided whether you can come on Saturday? If you do, how were you
planning to get there? Rudi and I are going by car, so can give you a lift
if that helps. But we do plan to come back that evening, so depends on
whether that's okay for you as well. We'd leave Cambridge around 5.30.

In a fit of glorious exultation at your perceived success, you jubilantly 
fire spikeballs at random. They hit a pixel and you lose loads of health, 
being pushed backwards off a cliff. You land on my upwards firing stream 
of handgun bullets and get mullered into nothingness.

I respawn on a crate that we never knew existed, giving me an extra
3000 lives.  You respawn vertically above where you were firing
handgun, in time for all the remaining handgun bullets to hit you.

Fortunately healths spawn on me as I hit the handgun bullets so my
health stays at 100%. You meanwhile fire rifle but unbeknownst to
you infinite reload has been turned on and you killl yourself by
shooting backwards at a gejillion miles an hour.

decide it is not necessary and stop pushing it, only for the life of 
your worm to end.
